The name “Hug” was inspired by the Danish word hygge—a concept that embraces cosiness, comfort, and contentment. Hygge is about slowing down, being present, and surrounding yourself with simple, meaningful things that bring a sense of peace. Flowers are deeply connected to this philosophy, as they create an atmosphere that brings beauty, calm and warmth.

We chose the name Hug because flowers evoke the same emotional experience as a hug—they comfort, uplift, and connect people.
